Bulgaria's construction output rose 1.8% year-on-year in October, following a 3.7% annual decrease the month before, the national statistical office, NSI, said on Monday, citing preliminary working-day adjusted data, reports SeeNews. 

SOFIA (Bulgaria), August 2 (SeeNews) - The number of residential building permits issued in Bulgaria in the second quarter of 2018 fell by 10.4% year-on-year, to 1,476 , the statistical office, NSI, said on Thursday.

Compared to the first quarter, the number of residential building permits issued in April-June added 27%, the NSI said in a statement.

SOFIA (Bulgaria), July 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's trade gap widened to 3.96 billion levs ($2.37 billion/2.02 billion euro) in the first five months of the year, from 3.06 billion levs in the same period of 2017, the country's statistical office, NSI, said on Thursday.

Bulgaria's jobless rate decreased by 0.2 percentage points month-on-month to 7.0% in February, the government's Employment Agency said on Thursday.

Year-on-year, Bulgaria's unemployment rate fell by 1.2 pp in February, the Employment Agency said in a statement.

There were 20,260 unemployed people newly-registered with labour offices countrywide in February.
