A year after US President Donald Trump held a signing ceremony that saw Kosovo agreeing to suspend its efforts to join international organisations for 12 months and Serbia agreeing to temporarily halt its counter-efforts to get countries to derecognise Kosovo, the agreed timeframe is over and both sides are expected to resume their campaigns.

The availability and capacity to actively contribute through parliamentary diplomacy to strengthening EU relations with the African, Caribbean and Pacific group of states was central theme of talks held Thursday by Chairman of the Romanian Senate Calin Popescu-Tariceanu with a group of senior representatives of the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly (ACP-EU).
