Additional Vaccine Doses Arrived in Bulgaria

Today, 62,010 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine and 50,400 doses of AstraZeneca arrived in Bulgaria, reported the Ministry of Health press office.

Moderna drugs manufacture supplied38,400 doses of their vaccine yesterday, the press office added.

The delivered jabs were immediately distributed among regional health inspectorates across the country.

Romania's first curbside/drive-through vaccination centres to become operational by end-April

Chairman of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV) Valeriu Gheorghita said on Monday that the first curbside/drive-thru COVID-19 vaccine centres will become operational by the end of April. He told Digi FM private broadcaster that people who will be vaccinated at such centres will receive the Pfizer jab without prior appointment.

COVID-19 in Bulgaria: 2,126 New Cases, Total Fatalities Surpassed 15,000

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,126 from 15,638 tests, the daily report on the Unified Information Portal shows on April 17.

1,163 were confirmed from PCR and 963 from antigen tests.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 384,887.

Another 79,634 people, vaccinated against COVID in last 24 hours

The National Committee for immunizing against COVID (CNCAV) informs on Friday that in the last 24 hours there were 79,634 vaccine doses administered, among which 60,667 - Pfizer, 10,164 - AstraZeneca and 8,803 - Moderna, according to the data supplied by the National Institute of Public Health, through the National Vaccination Electronic Registry.
