State property sold to Hellenic Cables subsidiary

The new management of the Public Properties Company (ETAD) has reached an agreement with Fulgor for the sale of a real estate asset at the municipality of Loutraki-Agii Theodori.

The property being acquired by the Cablel group subsidiary (Hellenic Cables) is adjacent to its existing industrial unit that produces underwater power cables, and copper and aluminum rods.

OASA, ELTA and ETAD pose threat to streamlining project

This has been made painfully obvious by the meager earnings and profits shown for yet another year by the Public Properties Company (ETAD), which has taken over most of the state's real estate.

New Athens park announced

On the occasion of World Environment Day Tuesday, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras announced plans for the creation of a metropolitan park in the Athens suburb of Goudi.

Tsipras said the blueprint for the operation and management of the park will be ready by September.

Venizelos Tombs to be included in new privatization fund

The Venizelos Tombs at Chania, Crete, will be included in the new privatization “superfund” which will exploit state-owned assets, such as Greek railways, postal service and a number of utilities, following an amendment tabled in the parliament on Friday regarding the properties of Greek National Tourism Organisation (EOT).
