Greece on Tuesday announced they were suspending flights to and from Qatar until mid-June, after 12 out of 91 passengers in a Qatar Airways flight that landed in Athens on Monday tested positive for the coronavirus.

Qatar Airways has signed a codeshare agreement with Bulgaria Air and the first codeshare flights will operate on March 2, the national airline said on Tuesday. This was reported by the Qatari English-language Gulf Times.

The agreement will provide Bulgaria Air passengers with a "seamless connection" to destinations in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Aeroflot topped the annual ranking for the most punctual airline in in the world for 2019, and Sheremetyevo - for the most punctual airport, Daily Mail reported, citing data from analytics company Cirium.

Greek airline Sky Express said on Thursday it had signed an agreement with Qatar Airways to cooperate on flights connecting Doha with the Greek islands, in a boost to the country's key tourism industry.

Tourism accounts for about a quarter of economic output in Greece, which saw a record number of about 33 million visitors last year.

Two girls, aged 15 and 14, as well as a boy of eight, were brought to Serbia by the Serbian Ambassador to Iran because this was the only possible way, since the children did not have proper documents or exit visas. Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic said that was the only solution.

Trade agreements between Qatar and the United States were signed in Washington.

Trump told reporters in the morning that Qatar is investing heavily in the US, buying military equipment and commercial planes. 

Qatar Airways buys five Boeing aircraft at a time when the US company is forced to protect the safety of its machines.

Qatar Airways made its first direct flight from the capital Doha to Turkey's Aegean city of Izmir on May 23.       

Syria's government has agreed to allow planes from regional aviation giant Qatar Airways to fly over the country after eight years of conflict kept its planes at bay.

Qatar Airways made a "substantial" loss in its last financial year because of a regional blockade that has banned the airline from Arab countries, the company chief has announced.

Qatar Airways has commenced its direct flights between Doha and Turkey's southern province of Hatay.
