BELGRADE - EU Commissioner for Regional Policy Johannes Hahn has met with Serbia's Justice Minister Nikola Selakovic and stressed that economic recovery and progress have to be among the top priorities for Serbia in the coming years of accession talks.

The European Commission and Greece agreed on Friday on how 26 billion euros of structural and investment funds will be used between 2014 and 2020.

“The new National Strategic Reference Framework [NSRF] can act as a catalyst for growth at a crucial time for the country,” said Development Minister Costis Hatzidakis.

BELGRADE - The European Union (EU) is ready to assist Serbia as if it were already a member state, EU Commissioner for Regional Policy Johannes Hahn underscored in Brussels on Wednesday.

Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev is to take part in the EU-Africa summit, which will be held April 2 and 3.

Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin will also participate in the event, Bulgaria's CROSS news agency has reported.
