Turkish auto industry produces 1.1 mln vehicles in Jan-Nov
Automakers in Turkey produced some 1.15 million vehicles- including automobiles and commercial vehicles - in this January-November, according to a sectoral report.
The figure was down 13% year-on-year, the Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) said on Dec. 14.
The country's passenger car production also fell 14% to 761,743 during the same period.
EU passenger car market narrows 41.5% in Jan-May
The EU's passenger car market shrank 41.5% in the January-May period this year compared to the same period last year, an industry group said on June 17.
Automobile registrations across the 27-member bloc stood at 3.33 million in the first five months of 2020, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) announced.

Turkey's auto production tops 415,000 in Jan-May
Automakers in Turkey produced 415,454 vehicles, including automobiles, light commercial vehicles, and tractors, in January-May, according to a sectoral report released on June 8.
In the first five months of 2020, Turkey's auto production dropped 35% on a yearly basis due to the COVID-19 pandemic, said the Automotive Manufacturers Association.

More than 41,000 vehicles registered in April
In Turkey, a total of 40,171 first- and second-hand vehicles were registered in April, the country's statistics authority revealed on May 29.
April's figure was down 26.1% year-on-year and it marked a 44.3% drop compared to the previous month due to the coronavirus containment measures, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).

Talin Yıldız was the Global Marketing Director of the French automotive giant, according to her LinkedIn profile. She has taken the position of CMO at Turkey's Automobile Joint Venture Group (TOGG) as of April 1.
