The decision adopted by the Government on Monday, under the provisions of Law No. 55/2020, on the establishment of the state of alert in the entire country starting with May 18 for 30 days has been published in the Official Journal.

On Friday, President Klaus Iohannis has signed a decree for the promulgation of the Law on measures for preventing and combating the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Presidential Administration.

Head of the Emergency Situations Department (DSU) Raed Arafat announced on Thursday evening that from May 15, all persons arriving in Romania, regardless of which country, will be ordered home isolation.
