The stranger who gave American fashion model Kendall Jenner a Rolls-Royce for her birthday is a Dubai-based Turkish businessman, a columnist for daily Dünya has claimed.

Saygın Yalçın sent a $250,000 Rolls-Royce on Jenner's 21st birthday, Kerem Ülker wrote in his column on Nov. 14.

The world's aviation and defense giants, including Boeing, Airbus and Thyssen-Krupp, are looking into Turkish contractors for cooperation opportunities, according to an executive of an Istanbul-based defense industry umbrella organization. 

The Light Helicopter Turbine Engine Company (LHTEC), a 50-50 partnership between U.K.-based Rolls-Royce and U.S.-based Honeywell, has signed an agreement with Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) to provide military and civilian helicopter engines.

This is neither the cockpit of a supersonic aircraft nor the cockpit of a space shuttle. It is the bridge of Stril Luna vessel.

Stril Luna was designed by Rolls-Royce and its bridge is equipped with a system that they call a “Unified Bridge,” an ergonomic concept for ship management which incorporates the latest technology!

Dubai's Emirates Airline on April 17 awarded a lucrative engines deal worth a record $9.2-billion (8.5-billion-euro) to British aircraft engine maker Rolls-Royce.
