Mid Europa Partners buys Danube Foods Group

BELGRADE -- Mid Europa Partners has signed an agreement on the acquisition of Danube Foods Group (DFG).

DFG owns Serbian dairies Imlek and Mlekara Subotica, and Bambi and Knjaz Milos companies.

Mid Europa also bought all Imlek dairies operating in Macedonia, the Serb Republic (RS) and Montenegro.

BELGRADE- Mid Europa Partners, a leading investment fund focused on Central and Eastern Europe, signed an agreement on the acquisition of Danube Foods Group (DFG), the owner of Serbian companies Imlek, Mlekara Subotica, Bambi, and Knjaz Milos, DFG said in a release on Monday.

Mid Europa also bought all Imlek dairies operating in Macedonia, Republika Srpska and Montenegro.

The Serbian tabloid Informer on Monday accused the US of trying to subvert Aleksandar Vucic, Serbia's likely future Prime Minister, by setting up a new regional TV station, N1.
