Nord Stream Shuts Down for 10 days due to Planned Repairs
Russian gas deliveries via Nord Stream - the main pipeline for gas exports from Russia to Europe - will be temporarily suspended from this morning until July 21 due to planned annual maintenance work on the pipeline. In this way, natural gas from Russia will continue to enter Western and Central Europe through only one transit line through Ukraine.

Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) Reports steep Decline in Passengers
Bulgarian state-owned railway company BDZ Passengers, a wholly-owned unit of BDZ Holding, saw its passengers numbers decline by 20-30% due to the coronavirus pandemic, transport minister Rosen Zheliazkov said on Wednesday.

Turkey’s home appliance sales soared in first quarter
Turkey's home appliance sales and exports soared in the first quarter of this year, according to a sectoral group head.
"In January-March, our sales and exports increased 40 percent and 26 percent, respectively, compared to the same period last year," said Can Dinçer, head of the White Goods Manufacturers' Association of Turkey (TÜRKBESD) on April 20.

New festival to continue the tradition of Slowind
Ljubljana – A new festival of contemporary classical music got under way in virtual format on Tuesday, continuing the 20-year tradition of the Slowind Festival. The New Music Forum, a project of the newly founded society Uho, will feature four concerts in December and two in April and aim to create a platform for outstanding Slovenian musicians.
