Vucevic meets with Peach

BELGRADE - Serbian Defence Minister Milos Vucevic met with UK special Western Balkans envoy Stuart Peach on Monday.

They discussed defence cooperation and Vucevic looked back on the most important past activities in that domain, the MoD said in a statement.

Vucic meets with Dassault Aviation representatives in Paris

PARIS - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Dassault Aviation representatives in Paris on Monday.

Vucic has announced earlier the meeting would address the defence industry and a purchase of 12 Rafale fighter jets.

After a reception at the Hotel des Invalides with full state honours, Vucic laid a wreath at a plaque commemorating Serbian soldiers.

Serbian gov't to hold extraordinary session Thursday, Vucic to attend

BELGRADE - The Serbian government will hold an extraordinary session on Thursday 10 am, with President Aleksandar Vucic to attend, a source in the government has confirmed to Tanjug.

The session will also be attended by Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic, government ministers, security, army and police officials and directors of public enterprises.

Dacic meets with Armenian deputy FM

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met with Armenian Deputy FM Paruyr Hovhannisyan in Belgrade on Wednesday.

The parties expressed interest in further development of bilateral relations, based on the traditional friendship and close cultural and historical ties between the two states and peoples, the Serbian MFA said in a statement.

Fiat Chrysler plant in Kragujevac produces first test units of new electric car

KRAGUJEVAC - The Fiat Chrysler plant in Kragujevac, central Serbia, has produced the initial test units of the first-ever electric car to be manufactured in Serbia, Tanjug learns.

They are undergoing crash tests and other testing inside the factory complex.

Collegium meeting on ODIHR recommendations concludes in Serbian parliament

BELGRADE - A Collegium meeting called by Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic to discuss further ODIHR recommendations for improving the electoral conditions concluded in the Serbian parliament on Monday afternoon.

It was attended by the whips of the political groups of both the ruling coalition and the opposition.
