The newspaper said that Brussels expects Serbia to align its policy in that area with the European Union, unless it wishes to jeopardize its "white Schengen".

The agency said this on Monday citing Albanian Top Channel broadcaster.

"Deutsche Telekom, the owner of Telekom Albania, is in the final stage of the procedure of selling its Albanian arm to Bulgaria's Vivacom," said the report, also carried by Bulgarian websites.

Mihajlovic, who is in charge of transport, construction, and infrastructure in the Serbian government, was responding to questions from journalist in Belgrade when she made the statement.

The 21-year-old driver, the sole occupant of the car, escaped without visible injuries, Tanjug reported, adding that he was under medical observation.

According to the report, the drugs were seized in a joint operation between Serbia, Bulgarian, and Turkish police, when one person was also detained.

This was "the first anti-narcotics operation conducted by the Turkish police abroad," the paper said on its website.
