Gas interconnector with Bulgaria to start trial operation soon - minister
PIROT - Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic announced on Wednesday works on a natural gas measurement and regulation station near Pirot, southeastern Serbia, had been completed and that a gas interconnector with Bulgaria was expected to start trial operation soon.

Fiat, Hesteel, and Gazprom-owned companies top Serbian list
Topping this list is Fiat (FCA) Serbia (majority-owned by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), that sold cars worth EUR 599.6 million, followed by HBIS Group (owned by China's Hesteel), who operate the Smederevo-based steel plant - and have exported products worth EUR 581.4 million in this period.

Second Tigar Tyres worker dies in Germany
PIROT -- Another of the three Tigar Tyres workers severely injured in an accident on April 23 has passed away.
The Pirot-based Tigar Tyres company made the announcement on Tuesday.
Miodrag Panic, a maintenance worker, died on April 27 shortly after 8 p.m, the company said.

Three injured workers transferred to Germany
PIROT -- The three workers who were injured in the Tigar Tyres plant in Pirot were on Friday morning transferred by plane to Germany for further medical treatment.
Tanjug said it learned this from the plastic surgery clinic of the Clinical Center in Nis.
