Acibadem Healthcare Group is looking for buyer of its assets in Bulgaria. A little more than two years after entering Bulgaria, the Turkish healthcare group is withdrawing from the country. Acibadem accepts offers for the hospitals it owns. These are the former Tokuda Hospital in Sofia and City Clinic in Burgas and Varna, as well as some medicine units.

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, has invested 15 million euros in equity of Turkish hospital group Acıbadem's Bulgaria unit, Acıbadem City Clinic, to give a further boost to the group's growth in the Middle East and Balkans and to improve healthcare services in Bulgaria, the parties said in a statement on May 30. 

Turkey's Ac?badem Sa?l?k Hizmetleri ve Ticaret, a subsidiary of IHH Healthcare Berhad, Asia's largest healthcare company, has struck two deals in Bulgaria worth a total of EUR 76 M, IHH has said.
