Bulgaria and Romania have the highest annual road fatality rates among all 28 EU member states, with 95 dead each for every million people, well above the EU average of 51.5 per million, the European Commission road safety report for 2015, released on Thursday, said.

Only days after the adoption of a new Aviation Strategy for Europe,  the European Commission updated the EU Air Safety List, the list of airlines that are subject to an operating ban or operational restrictions within the European Union. This list is essential to guarantee the highest level of air safety for European citizens.

The European Commission adopted on Monday a new Aviation Strategy for Europe aiming to boost the continent's economy, strengthen its industrial base and reinforce its leadership position in the world.

BRUSSELS - Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will take part in a meeting in Brussels on April 21 that will deal with the integration of land, river and air transport services of the Western Balkan countries into the common European network.
