No COVID test requirement for entry to Greece, Kyrgyzstan
Greece and Kyrgyzstan have scrapped the requirement for a negative PCR test result upon entry from Turkey, Turkish Airlines announced late on May 2.
The two countries have eased travel restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, the national flag-carrier company said on its social media accounts.

Turkish Airlines posts $161 million profit in first quarter
Turkish Airlines swung a net income of $161 million in the first quarter of 2022 from a net loss of $229 million in January-March 2019.
Total revenues of the flag carrier grew more than 10 percent in the first three months of this year compared to the first quarter of 2019 to reach $3.05 billion.

There are over 58 people who have expressed a desire to evacuate. This was stated at an extraordinary briefing by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska.
"At this stage, the plans are for a land evacuation. Turkish airlines also continue to fly, so such a transfer could be made to Turkey and then back to Bulgaria," the foreign minister said.
Turkey evacuating Turkish nationals from Ukraine via land
Turkey has ramped up efforts to evacuate thousands of Turkish nationals from Ukraine via land after they were stranded there following Russia's invasion.
Turkish officials from foreign missions in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Moldova, are now at the Ukrainian borders of those countries to coordinate the evacuation efforts.
Turkish Airlines cancels flights to Ukraine
Turkish Airlines canceled all Ukraine flights as of Feb. 24 after Ukraine closed its air space to civilian flights following Russian military operation.
Turkish Airlines had been operating flights to six points in Ukraine - Kharkiv, Kherson, Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa, Zaporizhia.

A well known group of supposedly Greek-based hackers, calling themselves "Powerful Greek Army", has claimed it took down the pages of several banks in North Macedonia on Tuesday evening for a couple of hours.
Foreign visitors more than doubled last month
Foreign tourist arrivals in Turkey more than doubled in January compared to the same month of 2021, reaching almost 1.3 million, according to official data announced on Feb. 21.
The number of foreigners visiting the country was 1.28 million in January, which jumped 151 percent from the same month in 2021, according to the Culture and Tourism Ministry data.
