A Romanian Court has placed Andrew Tate under House Arrest

A Romanian court has ordered controversial influencer Andrew Tate and his brother to be moved from prison to house arrest while they are investigated for alleged human trafficking and rape. Tate, 36, and his brother Tristan, 34, were arrested at the end of December and have since been remanded in custody, which was extended again last week.

Turkish watchdog says it's fining Musk over Twitter takeover

Türkiye's competition watchdog said on March 6 it was fining Twitter owner Elon Musk for taking over the social media platform without first seeking the watchdog's permission.

The Turkish Competition board said the billionaire would be required to pay 0.1% of Twitter's gross revenues in Türkiye in 2022, without providing a figure for the fine.

The president of that committee, Alicia Kearns, said that the British government would not support the formation of a "Serbian enclave" in Kosovo.

Musk faces US fraud trial over Tesla tweet

Elon Musk, the CEO of electric car giant Tesla, will face trial on Tuesday over allegedly manipulating the stock market with a tweet after a federal judge rejected his request to move the case out of California.    

The case dates back to August 2018 when Musk tweeted that he had sufficient funding to take Tesla private, causing a whirlwind in the company's share price.
