US might ban laptops on all flights into and out of the country
The United States might ban laptops from aircraft cabins on all flights into and out of the country as part of a ramped-up effort to protect against potential security threats, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly said on May 28.

Brian Schear said they boarded the plane without issue, but with other passengers on the standby list for the flight, he was then told by Delta agents that the 2-year-old had to give up his seat — and then threatened with jail.

Athens-New York gets a little closer x 3
Delta Airlines, United Airlines and American Airlines will operate a connection from Athens to New York during the summer of 2016. Alternate Tourism Minister Eleni Kountoura announced that these new flights are to take place, while also revealing that she had proposed that Aegean Airlines link Greece to North America so that a reliable Greek airline reactivates the line.

Tahera Ahmad, aged 31, was denied an unopened can of diet coke aboard her United Airlines flight from Chicago to Washington just after an unopened can was handed to another passenger. Ahmad, director of interfaith engagement and associate chaplain at Northwestern University, was told that the refusal to hand her a coke was so that she wouldn’t “use it as a weapon.”
