Brave road win for the Reds, victory at last for the Greens

Both Olympiakos and Panathinaikos made up for their Tuesday losses with two-point victories in hard fought matches in the Euroleague on Thursday and Friday respectively.

The Reds scored their 12th win in 19 games, beating Virtus Bologna 85-83 in Italy despite fielding a rather depleted team.

Turkey wins Virtus European Indoor Athletics Championships

Turkey won the 2021 Virtus European Indoor Athletics Championships, the Turkish Special Athletes Sports Federation announced on March 13.

Turkish athletes bagged 13 medals - six gold, five silver, and two bronze - and were crowned champions with 32 points, the federation said in a statement.

Turkey's Esra Bayrak was named the best female athlete at the championships, it added.

VIRTUS philanthropy awards given in ceremony in Belgrade

VIRTUS awards were presented on Saturday in a ceremony in Belgrade for philanthropy campaigns and programs carried out in 2015.

The awards in five main and two special categories were presented by U.S. and Canadian ambassadors to Serbia, Michael Kirby and Philip Pinnington, and deputy head of EU's delegation in Serbia Oskar Benedikt.
