Ministers from central Europe, Balkans discuss energy, future of EU in summit near Athens
The foreign ministers of eight central European and Balkan EU countries are holding talks in Greece in which prospective bloc members from the Balkans are also represented.
Friday's meetings in a resort south of Athens bring together ministers from the so-called Visegrad Group — Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary — and Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia.
Ahead of name talks, German envoy upbeat on solution
Talks scheduled to take place in Athens on Saturday between Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias and his counterpart from the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), Nikola Dimitrov, on the Balkan country's name are expected to be pivotal, diplomatic sources say.
Zaev says hopes to meet Tsipras at Sofia summit
The Prime Minister of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) Zoran Zaev said on Monday he hoped he would meet with his Greek counterpart Alexis Tsipras on the sidelines of the EU-Western Balkans summit in Sofia on May 17.

Hungarian Prime Minister Orban Arrives on an Official Visit to Sofia
Prime Minister Boyko Borisov will welcome Prime Minister Viktor Orban today, who is on a working visit to Bulgaria, BNT announced.
The visit is to discuss the development of bilateral relations, the possibilities for interaction between the Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council and the Hungarian Presidency of the Visegrad Group.
Brnabic: Serbia-Hungary relations at historic high
BUDAPEST - Serbia-Hungary relations are at a historic high and Serbia will continue to invest in them, Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said in Budapest Friday.
She thanked Hungary for supporting Serbia on the EU path and for often bravely representing Serbian interests in Brussels.

Joksimovic: Enlargement policy will not go into retirement
BUDAPEST - The EU enlargement policy "will not go into retirement", Serbian European Integration Minister Jadranka Joksimovic said Monday, noting that the Visegrad Group countries had shown they understood the enlargement process was "one of the vital and significant policies of the EU."

This is according to Jadranka Joksimovic, the minister for EU integration, who added that there was "plenty of room for further improvement of cooperation between our countries both bilaterally and within the framework of this group's platform."

Bosnia: 13 arrested for war crimes against Serbs
The arrests took place in Konjic and Sarajevo, while the crimes were committed during the 1990s war in the area of Bradina, a village near the town of Konjic.
SIPA said in a statement quoted by Beta that the suspects will be turned over to the Prosecution of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Serbia to get new holiday - Warrior Day
"Every country has a day to celebrate those who fought for it, Serbia needs it, and we have a war history that we are proud of," Vulin told RTS, Beta reported.
With this he "reiterated his earlier commitment that Serbia will have a day that will be dedicated to all the warriors who fought for our country."
