Boyko Borissov, the leader of GERB, announced that forming a government is currently not feasible. Raya Nazaryan is being proposed for the Speaker of the Parliament, and today's vote on her candidacy will determine the continuation of negotiations with other parties. Borissov emphasized that the vote will reveal whether a government can be formed in this parliament.

After so much drama, both the first and second mandates to form a cabinet in Bulgaria failed within a single day, escalating political tensions and uncertainty in the country's governance.

Negotiations between GERB and "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB) hit a snag as the proposed draft composition of the Council of Ministers by GERB was deemed unacceptable by WCC-DB. Resigned Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov made this announcement upon leaving the presidency, where President Rumen Radev handed the first mandate to form a government to GERB.

Boyko Borissov, the leader of GERB, has confirmed that negotiations between his party and We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (WCC-DB) will commence tomorrow at 18:00, with discussions continuing into Sunday. The focus of these talks will revolve around governance matters following the rotation of cabinets, including topics such as regulatory issues and judicial reform.

The political landscape in Bulgaria sees tensions rise as "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB) responds to accusations from GERB regarding the hastened resignation of the government. Kiril Petkov, co-chairman of WCC-DB, asserts their commitment to keeping promises, emphasizing that the government's resignation after nine months of governance was in line with their pledge.

Boyko Borissov, chairman of the GERB party, announced that negotiations with the "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB) memorandum will commence only after a thorough evaluation of ministerial performances, slated to be revealed next week.

"We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" begin active work for the implementation of a cabinet with the second term, as well as talks with all political forces in the parliament to change the Constitution and the management model of the prosecutor's office.

"In this parliament, 'We continue the change' will resume its work from where it was stopped, as a constructive, predictable opposition," WCC co-chairman Kiril Petkov said from the parliamentary rostrum.

According to him, "the party will be guided by two principles in order to fulfill our pre-election promises".
