Coca-Cola Opens a Financial Office in Varna
Coca-Cola European Partners chose Varna for the location of its newest financial office. It will be open in May 2019, with over 90 jobs open. The new jobs in Varna will complement the 700 existing positions that the Coca-Cola European Partner team has in Sofia.

No Visa Fees For Bulgarians in Thailand Until the End of April

Basketball: Serbian men take 3x3 World Cup title
Serbia on Wednesday beat the Netherlands 21-18 to win the country's third FIBA 3x3 World Cup basketball title.
The Serbian team competing in the men's category ended the tournament in Nantes, France, with a perfect 7-0, beating Egypt, Russia, Andorra, Puerto Rico, the United States, and France.

No Joke: U.N. Elects Saudi Arabia to Women’s Rights Commission, For 2018-2022 Term (VIDEOS)
The Geneva-based human rights group UN Watch condemned the U.N.’s election of Saudi Arabia, “the world’s most misogynistic regime,” to a 2018-2022 term on its Commission on the Status of Women, the U.N. agency “exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women.”
New biometric passports due June 1
The distribution of new biometric passports containing chips, which are necessary to travel to Schengen countries, will start on June 1, with the government working on the necessary legal regulations.
The new passports are among the 72 criteria required by the body for granting visa exemption to Turkish citizens in light of a Turkey-EU migrant deal signed on March 20.

Bulgaria Removes Gibraltar from Tax Haven List
Gibraltar is not anymore on Bulgaria's "tax haven list", the European Commission website shows.
Local daily Gibraltar Chronicle points to the development as a result of "intensive lobbying" by Gibraltar's Finance Minister Albert Isola and the Gibraltar Finance Bulgaria team.

An ode to Astypalea, beautiful and unspoilt (vid)
Astypalea, one of the most beautiful and unspoiled Greek islands, was filled between dips by Eva Rodriguez and Ignasi Llobet, filmmakers from Andorra.
The 2-minute film was shot handheld with a monopod. It was impossible for him to see what he was shooting, focusing and exposing thanks to the bright Greek sun.
