Syrian arrested on Greek border investigated for jihadist ties

A 28-year-old Syrian national who was arrested at the Kipoi border crossing in Evros over the weekend after police found more than 95,000 rounds of ammunition hidden in special compartments in his car, is being detained in Alexandroupoli as police and intelligence officials suspect he might have jihadist connections, Kathimerini understands.

Turkish online payment company Iyzico raises $6.2 million

Turkey's Iyzico, which has aimed to provide a platform to allow e-commerce sites and other apps to easily process online payments, has raised $6.2 million in a Series B round of financing. Leading the round was the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank's investing arm, as reported by TechCrunch. 

Bulgarians Made More Business, Holiday Trips Abroad in April

According to the latest figures of the National Statistical Institute (NSI), which were released on Wednesday, Bulgarians made more business trips and holiday travels abroad in April.

Bulgarians completed 369 000 trips abroad in April, which represented an increase of 14.2 % compared to the same month in 2014.

Romania, the 20th to take to the stage in Eurovision Final
