Rampaging Fires Threaten Villages in Croatia
Croatian fire fighters, volunteers and the military are trying to put out raging forest fires that are endangering the population and tourist resorts.
The biggest is blazing on the central part of the Peljesac peninsula on the southern coast, in the villages of Pijavicino, Trstenik and Zuljane.

Dodik "not against compromise" on referendum
RS President Milorad Dodik says he is "not against" reaching a compromise when it comes to a referendum on state-level judiciary in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
"If a solution is found parliament could again be deciding on that," Dodik told public broadcaster of the Serb entity RTRS.

Mogherini: Referendum in RS "extremely problematic"
Federica Mogherini says a possible referendum in the RS on the state judiciary of Bosnia would cause severe complications for BiH's European integration.
The referendum would be “extremely problematic,” the EU foreign policy chief said after Monday's meeting of the EU foreign ministers in Brussels.

"1,000 police officers to guard Bosnian Presidency members"
1,000 plainclothes and uniformed police will be tasked with providing security for the members of Bosnia's Presidency when they arrive here on Wednesday.
This is according to a report in the Belgrade-based daily Blic.
