Bosnia Says One Million People Affected by Floods
“More than a million people are without water, around a quarter of the population has been endangered by this catastrophe,” Foreign Minister Zlatko Lagumdija said on Monday.
Some 100,000 houses have been damages across the country, he added.

25,000 Evacuated in Serbian Floods
Serbia's Ministry of Interior says it has evacuated 25,070 people in the areas most threatened by flooding.
In the town of Obrenovac, near the capital Belgrade, 7,800 people have been evacuated, Tanjug agency reported. The town has been almost completely flooded after heavy rains poured over the past days.

BRUSSELS - Serbia can count on EUR 1 billion worth of aid from the European Union Solidarity Fund in dealing with the long-term consequences of the catastrophic floods, Kristalina Georgieva, the European Commissioner for International Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Response, said on Monday.

The Danube Continues to Rise, Floods a Fishing Village Near Ruse
The level of the Bulgarian stretch of the Danube river continues to rise and flooded a fishing village near Ruse.
According to the Agency for Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube, the level at Ruse rose by half a meter overnight and passed the 7-meter mark.

RS declares day of mourning, help arrives to Bosnia
BANJA LUKA, SARAJEVO -- The government of the Serb Republic (RS), the Serb entity in Bosnia-Herzegovina, has decided to declare a day of mourning on Tuesday.
So far 17 people have been listed as casualties of the heavy floods, RS Interior Minister Radislav Jovičić confirmed.
