Balkans Do Better in 'Doing Business' Report
Most Balkan countries showed a marked improvement in their ratings in the World Bank's latest "Doing Business" report, which measures 189 countries on the basis of regulations that either enhance or suppress business activities.
Macedonia remains the regional leader in terms of ease in doing business, placed at 30th place in the rankings, moving up one place.

Serbian army takes part in exercise in Germany
BELGRADE - Over 4,000 members of armed forces from 18 countries, including troops of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Serbia, are participating in an exercise in German municipality of Hohenfels.
The aim of the exercise is to improve inter-operability and mutual understanding between members of Ground Forces of partners in tactical operations in a multinational environment.

Share Of Shadow Economy In Bulgaria Decreases – Employers
The share of shadow economy in Bulgaria's GDP has dropped from 42.2% in 2010 to 32.3% in 2014, shows a survey of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA).
The survey was part of BICA's Limiting and Prevention of Informal Economy project, published on its website.
Modern Retail In Bulgaria Continues To Rise
The modern retail outlets in Bulgaria continue to increase their market share, on the account of the small independent stores, shows a GfK survey, quoted by Dnevnik.bg.
In 2007 the modern retail outlets, such as super- and hypermarkets, held 42% of the FMCG sales, while in 2011 their share reached 55%.
