Bulgaria Ranks 47th in Economic Freedom Index
Bulgaria ranks 47th in the world in terms of economic freedom, showed a ranking of the American Heritage Foundation.
According to the ranking, Bulgaria ranks right behind Kosovo (46th) and ahead of Cyprus (48th).
The transition of our country to a more open and flexible economic system has been facilitated by the restructuring carried out, showed the index of economic freedom.

Cyprus forecasts growth of 2.5-3 pct in 2017
Cyprus expects its economy to grow between 2.5 and 3 percent this year as it recovers from its recent financial crisis and bailout.
Finance Minister Harris Georgiades said on Tuesday the economy has rebounded strongly and is making up lost ground after the country sought out a multibillion-euro rescue deal from its eurozone partners to save it from bankruptcy in 2013.
