Sanctions imposed on Serbian politicians over Crimea visit
KIEV - The Ukrainian security service SBU has decided to impose sanctions on Serbian politicians who have paid a three-day visit to Crimea, SBU spokesperson Elena Gitlyanska announced on Facebook.
She said the sanctions had been imposed on four Serbian citizens and one citizen of the Czech Republic for illegally staying in the territory of Crimea, Sputnik reported.
Kosovo MP's Move to Cut Jail Terms Slated
An MP from the ruling Democratic Party of Kosovo, PDK, Nait Hasani, has been criticized for proposing an amendment that would cut prison sentences by a third, by counting 24 hours spent in prison as 36 hours of sentence.
Hasani, who was a political prisoner under Slobodan Milosevic's Serbian regime, told BIRN that his aim was to improve the behaviour of prisoners.
