EC Prez. Juncker proposed number of refugees per each EU country
European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker speaking at Strasbourg Wednesday called on EU member states to receive a portion of the refugees currently in Greece, Italy and Hungary, by presenting a proposal with the number he believed should be relocated to each country. According to the Commission’s estimates there are currently 54,000 in Hungary, 50,400 in Greece and 15,600 in Italy.
Juncker Unveils New EU Migrant Quotas Proposal
EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has officially proposed the introduction of binding quotas of asylum seekers each member state is to fill.
In his first State of the Union speech as head of the EU's executive body, Juncker has said the distribution of migrants is to involve some 120 000 people more than had been previously planned.

Bulgaria Records 0.5 % GDP Growth in Q2 - Eurostat
According to the latest estimates of Eurostat, which were released on Tuesday, the GDP of Bulgaria increased by 0.5 % in the second quarter compared to the first quarter of 2015.
This is slightly above the average GDP of the EU, which increased by 0.4 % compared to the previous quarter.
