Greek defense minister in Finland exploring military service overhaul
Greece will be examining the Finnish model as it seeks to overhaul the structure of its military service, Defense Minister Nikos Dendias said during a visit to the Finnish capital on Tuesday.
Serbia beat Georgia in EuroBasket 2025 qualifier
TBILISI - Serbia beat Georgia 76-63 in a EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers Group G Game Day 2 encounter in Tbilisi on Monday evening.
Marko Guduric led Serbia to victory with 16 points and Vanja Marinkovic, Aleksa Avramovic and Filip Petrusev added 15, 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Tornike Shengelia stood out for Georgia with 17 points and Joe Thomasson added 15 points.

Sweden set to join NATO after Hungary approves bid
Sweden on Monday cleared its final obstacle to joining NATO after Hungary's parliament ratified the bid in what Sweden's prime minister called a "historic day", while other alliance members expressed relief at the move spurred by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Hungarian parliament to vote on Swedish NATO bid
Hungary's parliament is expected to ratify Sweden's NATO bid Monday, ending more than a year of delay that left fellow defence alliance partners furious as Ukraine fought off Russian troops.
Hungary remains the last obstacle to Stockholm's NATO membership after Türkiye ratified their request in January.

Swedish PM in Hungary ahead of crunch NATO ratification vote
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson arrived in Budapest on Feb. 23 for talks with his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban ahead of a key parliamentary vote on Stockholm's bid to join NATO.
Hungary remains the last obstacle to the Nordic country's NATO membership after Türkiye's ratification last month, but its parliament is set to vote on Sweden's bid on Feb. 26.
Pešić removed three players from the list for the match against Finland
On Friday, the "Eagles" will play the first match in group G in the "Aleksandar Nikoli" hall in Belgrade.
Uro Trifunovi, Ognjen Dobri and Aleksa Uskokovi will not play for Serbia in that match, as they were not on the list on the FIBA website.
Pei will count on the following players against Finland.
