Bulgaria's GERB Backs Weber to be EPP Spitzenkandidat in European Parliament 2019 Elections

A GERB delegation headed by Borissov is in Finland's capital Helsinki for the conference of the EU-wide European People's Party that is to choose its spitzenkandidat for the 2019 European Parliament elections. The decision is expected on November 8, according to EU Reporter. 

Bulgaria and Finland will Exchange Students and Teachers

Prime Minister Boyko Borisov talks with his Finnish counterpart, Juha Sipilä, reported NovaTV. 

The two spoke at Helsinki's government residence Kesäranta. The focus of the meeting was on the European perspective of the countries of the Western Balkans, security and border control, education, energy and tourism, the press center of the Council of Ministers announced.

For the period January-September this year, 7,903,692 foreigner tourists visited Bulgaria, or a 5.5% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the latest data from the National Statistical Institute (NSI), said the press office of the Ministry of Tourism, reports Focus News Agency

Eurobank joins we.trade platform

Eurobank has joined the we.trade blockchain-based trade financing platform whose services have now been extended to Greece, the Greek lender has announced.

The addition of Eurobank to the platform as a licensee banking partner means market leader we.trade has expanded the number of its licensee banks to 14 in as many countries, from just seven a year ago.
