American-Turkish basketball player found dead in New York
A U.S.-born Turkish basketball player has been found dead in New York, according to media reports.
The New York Daily News reported that police found the body of Ali Karadeniz, born Michael Wright, in his SUV under a pile of garbage bags in Brooklyn on Nov. 12.
France regrets 'unfortunate' Kerry remarks on climate summit: minister
French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius expressed regret on Nov. 12 over reported remarks by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry that the Paris climate summit will not deliver a binding treaty requiring countries to cut carbon emissions.
"I think that it's a formulation which could have been more fortunate," Fabius told journalists on the sidelines of the EU-Africa summit in Malta.
Iran will 'probably' buy Airbus planes during France trip: Rouhani
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that Iran will probably sign a deal to buy Airbus aircraft during his visit to France starting on Nov. 16.
"We already use Airbus or Boeing planes today," Rouhani said, according to a transcript of an interview with broadcaster France 2 and Europe 1 radio, made available to AFP on Nov. 11 ahead of its airing.
