NDS official at ASPEN conference in Berlin
BERLIN - Konstantin Samofalov, spokesperson of the New Democratic Party (NDS), which has seats in the Serbian parliament, has taken part in a conference organised by the ASPEN institute in Berlin, where the topics were the rule of law in the Western Balkans and the EU enlargement policy.

Six members of international passport forgery ring arrested in Greece
A joint operation between the police forces of Germany, Greece, France, Spain, Portugal, Sweden and the Czech Republic, supervised by Europol, led to the arrest of 38 people believed to belong to a European-wide ring producing and distributing forged passports and other identification documents.
Six of the arrests were made in Greece.
International conference on LGBT rights starts on Friday
BELGRADE - International conference 'The future belongs to us: LGBT rights on the road to the European Union' opens on Friday at the Metropol Hotel in Belgrade.
In addition to long-standing issues such as discrimination, violence and hate speech, the two-day conference will also tackle the quality of social services and cooperation with social work centers.

Turkey sends back 830 European jihadists
Turkey has captured and deported 830 citizens of European countries attempting to cross into Syria to fight with the Islamist jihadists over the past two years.
Turkey has established specialist anti-terror teams focusing on the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants, who have seized large swathes of territory across neighboring Syria and Iraq.

Bulgaria Requests to Enter Germany's Group of NATO Framework Nations
Caretaker Defense Minister Velizar Shalamanov has sent a letter to German counterpart Ursula von der Leyen to voice Bulgaria's willingness to join NATO's concept of "framework nations".
The move was announced by the Defense Ministry's press office.
