Shipper held in Iran returns to Greece
A Greek businessman who had sought refuge in the Greek Embassy in Tehran after claiming to have received death threats from officials in Iran, has returned to Greece.
Dimitris Cambis had been arrested, according to Iranian state media, on charges he allegedly illegally sold three Iranian oil tankers valued at a total of $100 million back in 2013.

The Greek Meteorological Services (EMY) issued a new severe weather bulletin Monday warning of snow falls and low temperatures until Thursday. The report forecasts heavy rainfalls and storms for the Ionian region, Epirus, mainland Greece (including Attica), Euboea, the Peloponnese, the Sporades and Cyclades islands and the Dodecanese.

Fire causes damage, fuels upheaval at Nea Kavala migrant center
A fire broke out at a reception center for migrants in Nea Kavala, Kilkis, in northern Greece, on Monday morning, causing damage but no injuries and fuelling upheaval on the premises.
According to sources, the fire broke out in an area of the facility which was being used as a makeshift school for young refugees.

Greek PM Tsipras to leave for Cuba Monday night
Greek PM Alexis Tsipras will be departing for Cuba Monday night to attend the 9-day public mourning ceremony for the deceased former Cuban President-dictator Fidel Castro.
