Jobless rate falls to 24.6% in Q2
The monstrous employment rate in Greece fell to 24.6 percent in Q2 2015, down from 26.6 percent in the previous quarter, which was the same figure for Q2 2014.
According to the Greek statistical service, El.Stat, a total of 1,180,141 people were registered as officially jobless in the country.
Youth unemployment remain the most worrying figure, recorded at 49.5 percent.

Turkey to Remove Refugees from Border Region by Week's End, Edirne Governor Says
Hundreds of refugees hoping to cross the Turkish border into Greece or Bulgaria would have to return to refugee camps in southern Turkey, the governor of Turkey's Edirne province has said.
"They have to leave here tomorrow and the day after tomorrow," Anadolu Agency quoted Governor Dursun Ali Sahin as saying on Thursday.
Erdine province is bordering both Greece and Bulgaria.
EU Leaders to Hold Emergency Summit on Migration Sept. 23
European Council President Donald Tusk has summoned EU leaders to an extraordinary summit next Wednesday to discuss migration and a proposed scheme to redistribute 120,000 asylum seekers across the 28-nation bloc.
European Council President Donald Tusk said in a tweet on Thursday the summit will be held from 6 p.m. CET.
More migrants arrive at Turkey-Greece border
Around 150 Syrian migrants have returned to Istanbul after authorities blocked their way to Greece in the border province of Edirne, but a similar number have arrived at the highway waiting to enter the province.

Turkey saw a very slight decrease in tourist numbers despite all the negativities, said interim Culture and Tourism Minister Yalç?n Topçu, adding that these losses were not irreversible with government incentives.
