Moscow last year banned import of food from the EU in response to western sanctions targeting Russian economy and officials.

Unemployment falls as industrial production jumps 1.9 percent

Greek unemployment fell and industrial production rose the most in three months, according to data published Thursday, as the cash-strapped government continues to press for new aid money.
Greece makes IMF payment
Greece on Thursday made a 459-million-euro ($497-million) loan payment to the IMF, an official said.
"The payment order has been given," a finance ministry source told AFP.
Greeces precarious finances have been closely monitored since the arrival of a new hard-left government in January.

Record Number of Bulgarian Toursists Visited Greece in 2014
According to the latest data of the Hellenic Statistical Authority, Bulgarians made 1.5 million visits to Greece in 2014, which is an increase of 121.8 % compared to the previous year.
This double increase in the number of trips made Bulgarians the third largest group of tourists visiting Greece after the Germans and the English.

German MEP critical of Greek-Russian deals
The European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Elmar Brok said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is aware that “he cannot help Greece financially.”
The MEP said that Russia “cannot restore the Greek standard of living and Greeks would not like the Russians’ standard of living,” speaking with state TV ARD and Bild newspaper.
