Turkish Greco-Roman wrestler Metehan Başar beat Germany's Denis Maksymilian Kudla in the 85-kg category final at the 2017 World Championships on Aug. 21 to claim the gold medal.
Başar beat Kudla 2-1 on the first day of the games in Paris, capturing his first world title.

For Bulgaria, the rise has reached 11.1%compared to January-August last year.
Exports to Turkey grew by 22.4%, for Greece - by 13.2%, for Serbia- by 40.8% and for Hungary - by 24.4%.
Greeks trust Putin over Trump, survey finds
Vladimir Putin is more trusted than Donald Trump "to do the right thing" for the world among Greeks, according to a survey released Wednesday.
Half of Greeks surveyed said they had confidence in the Russian President, while only 19 percent said the same of his US counterpart, according to the poll by the respected Pew Research Center.

Bulgaria will Collect BGN 1.5b per Year From Cargo Vehicles with the New Toll System
A heavy truck passing through the territory of Bulgaria pays between eight and ten times less than in the rest of Europe," Bulgaria's Transport Minister Ivaylo Moskovski tol bTV this morning.
In his words, all vehicles of over 3.5 tons in weight will have to pay a toll fee for using certain roads when passing through Bulgaria.
