EU answer to W Balkan issues, Pahor tells Munich conference
Munich – President Borut Pahor took part in a panel debate on the Western Balkans at the Munich Security Conference on Sunday, arguing the EU enlargement process should be stepped up and offering the EU as the answer to all the issues troubling the region.

Croatia is ready for Schengen
Croatia meets the necessary conditions to implement all parts of the Schengen acquis.
This is the conclusion reached by the Council of the EU.
The report on the issue was adopted at today's Justice and Home Affairs Council in Brussels. This was announced by Slovenian Interior Minister Ales Hojs, whose country holds the EU presidency.

Balkan Countries Unfazed by Belarus’s Import Ban
Albania, Montenegro and North Macedonia are not likely to be affected economically by a ban on food imports imposed by Belarus, which starts on January 1.
Although not part of the EU, they have joined recent increased EU and Western sanctions on Belarus, imposed over the migrant crisis at the Polish border, for which Minsk is blamed.

WHO: COVID-19 Vaccines Saved Nearly 470,000 Lives of People over 60 in 33 European Countries
The COVID-19 vaccine has saved 469,186 lives for people aged 60 and over in 33 countries in the WHO European Region since the start of the vaccination campaign. This is evidenced by the results of a new study by the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), the organizations said in a press release, quoted by TASS.

Turks spent four hours and 33 minutes on average watching TV last year, which is well above the world's average of two hours and 54 minutes, according to a recent study conducted by the Television Watching Research Company (TİAK).
The corresponding figure for Europe was three hours and 54 minutes.
