A Greek beach included in world’s most unusual beaches
One of the most famous travel website in India, Ixigo.com, released its list with the 11 most unusual beaches around the world.
Unique beaches which don’t have the usual sand one would normally expect are included in the list, such as the Black beach in Iceland and the Red beach in Santorini.

Blasts, gunfight in Indonesian capital; at least 6 dead
Militants launched a gun and bomb assault in the centre of the Indonesian capital on Jan. 14, killing at least six people, in an attack that followed a threat by Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) fighters to put the country in their "spotlight", police said.

Around 110 000 foreign nationals have visited Bulgaria for the winter holidays, a tourism official has said
Greece, Macedonia, Serbia and Romania were the main source of tourists to the country between December 15 and January 06, according to Rumen Draganov, Director at the Bulgarian Institute for Analysis and Assessment in Tourism.

Greek private island among world’s top 22
A privately-owned Greek island has been selected among the world’s top 22 by Conde Nast Traveler (CNT) for those who wants “utter seclusion and perfect peace, in a location off-limits to everyone”.
For 6,700 British pounds per week, holidaymakers can rent a privately-owned island and villa at Petalioi complex of islands, 45 minutes from Athens by speedboat.

Erdo?an loses the game show
On his return flight from Saudi Arabia, President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an spoke to reporters. This is what he said: "There is nothing to say that you can't have a presidential system in a unitary state. There are already some examples in the world today, and also some from the past. You see it when you look at Hitler's Germany. You also see the example again in various other counties."
