Weather at the suspected site of the crash of AirAsia Indonesia's aircraft has improved enough on Friday to allow the deployment of two ships carrying acoustic equipment to detect the ‘pings' from the plane's cockpit voice and flight data recorders, international news outlets reported. 

Stormy weather forced Indonesian rescuers Dec. 31 to suspend their search for the bodies of 162 people aboard an ill-fated AirAsia plane, as investigators started trying to piece together why the flight plunged into the sea.

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic sent a telegram of condolences to Indonesian President Joko Widodo over the tragic plane crash, the Serbian government Office for cooperation with the media released.

Indonesian search and rescue teams began recovering bodies of passengers from the disappeared AirAisa flight, reports The Guardian.

The operation started after officials confirmed the floating debris in the Java Sea was that of the missing flight QZ8501.

The hunt for a missing AirAsia passenger plane appeared over Dec. 30 as wreckage and dozens of bodies were spotted at sea off Indonesia, prompting raw scenes of emotion from sobbing relatives of the 162 people aboard.
      
The Airbus A320-200 disappeared en route from Indonesia's second largest city Surabaya to Singapore during a storm early Sunday.
      

 A body was found in the sea Tuesday during the search for missing AirAsia flight QZ8501, Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency chief said.
     
"At 13:25... we spotted a floating object believed to be one of the passengers' bodies," Bambang Soelistyo said at a press conference.

Debris spotted Tuesday during an aerial search for AirAsia flight QZ8501 is from the missing plane, Indonesia's director general of civil aviation told AFP.
      
"For the time being it can be confirmed that it's the AirAsia plane and the transport minister will depart soon to Pangkalan Bun," Djoko Murjatmodjo said.
      

Items resembling an emergency slide and plane door have been seen in the search for AirAsia flight QZ8501, which lost contact with air controllers on Sunday morning en route to Singapore's Changi Airport, Indonesia has said.

Shares in AirAsia, Southeast Asia's biggest budget airline, lost almost eight percent in Kuala Lumpur on Dec. 29 after one of its jets disappeared with 162 people on board.
      
The firm slumped 12 percent to 2.60 ringgit at the open but recovered slightly to sit at 2.71 ringgit, still down 7.82 percent, at 0600 GMT.
      

An object spotted during a sea search for an AirAsia plane was not from the aircraft, Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla said Dec. 29 after reports that an Australian surveillance aircraft had found something.
