MHP leader urges ‘calm line’ along Iraq border following PKK attacks

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli has called for the establishment of a "calm line" extending up to 60 kilometers along Türkiye's border with Iraq in the wake of the recent PKK attacks in the region that claimed the lives of 12 Turkish troops.

Iran Guards hit 'terrorist' targets in Iraq, Syria

Iran launched a barrage of ballistic missiles at positions occupied by "terrorist groups" in Syria and Iraq on late Monday, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement.

State media reported that IRGC destroyed a "spy headquarters" and a "gathering of anti-Iran terrorist groups" in Syria with ballistic missiles.

Defense, foreign ministers to brief parliament on PKK attacks

Defense Minister Yaşar Güler and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan are set to provide briefings to the parliamentary plenary tomorrow on the weekend's deadly PKK attacks in northern Iraq as the parliament reconvenes following a two-week hiatus marked by budget talks.

The parliamentary session, scheduled to commence at 3 p.m., will be presided over by Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş.

St Nikolas oil tanker crew members are in good health

All crew members of the Greek-owned oil tanker St Nikolas, which was seized on Thursday by the Iranian navy, anchored in Bandar Abbas, Iran, are reported to be in good health and safe, as was announced by the vessel's management company Empire Navigation. 

Greek shipping company Empire Navigation confirmed their well-being after contacting Iranian authorities.
