Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Türkiye on the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of its republic, saying that cooperation between Moscow and Ankara will continue to develop.

Aleksandar Mitrovic scored for Serbia in the 9th and the 74th minute and Dusan Tadic found the net in the 77th minute, while Stevan Jovetic scored for Montenegro in the 36th minute.

KAUNAS - The Serbia men's national football team defeated Lithuania 3-1 in a EURO 2024 qualifying match in Kaunas on Sunday evening.

Striker Aleksandar Mitrovic scored a hat-trick for Serbia after netting in the 21st, 32nd and 43rd minute following assists by Filip Mladenovic and captain Dusan Tadic.

Gitis Palauskas scored the only goal for Lithuania in the 45th minute.

Serbia lose to Hungary at home in EURO 2024 qualifier

BELGRADE - The Serbia men's national football team suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Hungary in a EURO 2024 qualifying match at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in Belgrade on Thursday evening.

Serbia took the lead through an Attila Szalai own goal in the 10th minute, but Barnabas Varga equalisaed in the 34th minute and Willi Orban netted the winner in the 36th minute.
