Troicki loses to Muller in Sydney semi-final
SYDNEY - Serbian tennis player Viktor Troicki has failed to qualify for what would have been his third consecutive final at the Sydney ATP tournament after losing 6-3, 7-6 (8-6) to Gilles Muller of Luxembourg in Friday's semi-final.
Troicki won the tournament twice in the past two seasons.

There were concerns in Athens Thursday over the possible repercussions of growing tensions between the European Union and Turkey after EU lawmakers called for a temporary suspension of accession talks with Ankara.
Bulgaria's Football Team Progresses in FIFA Rankings
The Bulgarian national football team marked a progress of 17 places in FIFA rankings and now ranks 72nd.
Progress is due to the victory over Belarus (1:0) in Sofia, as part of the World Cup qualifiers. The Lions have 492 points, or 97 more, compared to the previous month.
In the rankings, Bulgarians football players are right behind Guinea and ahead of Uganda and Belarus.
