State Agency Issues Thousands of Certificates of Bulgarian Origin without Proof
The State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad has issued thousands of certificates of Bulgarian origin to citizens of Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia, without having received any proof of their Bulgarian origins.
This was established after an inspection was carried out by the Supreme Administrative Public Prosecutor's Office at the request of the Ministry of Justice late last year.

Nimetz to make new name proposal to Greece and FYROM, say unconfirmed reports
United Nations mediator Matthew Nimetz is due to submit soon a new name proposal aimed at settling the dispute between Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), which will see the neighboring country called Republic of Upper Macedonia, according to reports in Skopje.
European bankers attend IT forum at NBS
BELGRADE - Officials of European countries' central banks met at the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) on Tuesday for a three-day forum on information and communication technology in central banks, the NBS has stated.
The meeting, the largest of its kind in Europe, was opened by NBS Vice-Governor Ana Gligorijevic and head of the IT Sector goran Kunjadic.

MOSCOW -- Serbia is a suitable country for OSCE chairmanship at a time when the search for a solution to the problem in Ukraine is underway, Tomislav Nikolić has said.
The Serbian president spoke for the Russian national television and expressed the wish for the solution to be found soon.
Protesters Block International Road Demanding Withdrawal of DPS's MP 'Bat Sali'
Residents of Bulgaria's city of Kyustendil will block the international road to Gyueshevo, the border checkpoint with Macedonia, at noon, Monday.
The blockade is in protest against the election of the controversial DPS lawmaker Aleksandar Metodiev also known as "Bat Sali" without enough votes cast in his favor.
Giant mosaic unearthed in mysterious Greek tomb
An imposing mosaic of a man driving a chariot has been uncovered in the largest antique tomb ever found in Greece, in Amphipolis in northern Macedonia, the culture ministry said on Sunday.
Tiny pieces of white, black, blue, red, yellow and grey create a picture of a chariot drawn by two white horses, driven by a bearded man wearing a crown of laurel leaves.
