The special session of the parliament started at 11 a.m., and the special session of the Assembly is attended by representatives of the Government of Serbia, Republika Srpska, judiciary, army and police, religious communities, as well as 75 representatives of the diplomatic corps. Before the inauguration, Vui addressed the gathered citizens.
Brussels – Defence Minister Matej Tonin said on Thursday that Slovenian soldiers remain in Mali for now and continue training Mali troops. The statement comes after France announced its troops would withdraw from this African country, where Slovenia currently has nine soldiers in the EU Training Mission (EUTM).
In a phone call, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Nov. 18 discussed regional developments with Mohamed Bazoum, his counterpart from the West African country of Niger.
During the call, Erdoğan said that he places great importance on relations with Niger, Turkey's Communications Directorate said in a statement.
