Bulgaria - Last in the Stem Cell Transplantation in the EU Ranking

Bulgaria ranks last in the European Union for stem cell transplants, Eurostat reported.

A total of 139 Bulgarians have undergone a similar type of transplant for the year. Only Romania, Malta and Slovenia rank after Bulgaria. No stem cell transplants have been performed in Malta and Slovenia.

EU Council confirms Romania's Kovesi's appointment as first European chief prosecutor

The Council of the European Union today agreed to the appointment of Laura Codruta Kovesi to be the first European chief prosecutor. The appointment must now also be confirmed by the European Parliament, according to a press statement released on Monday by the Council of the EU.

ECSC2019/ Romania becomes European cyber security champion for the first time
