Turkish FM inaugurates TİKA office in Mexico
Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Çavuşoğlu on Feb. 3 inaugurated a Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TİKA) office in Mexico City.
Speaking at its opening ceremony, Çavuşoğlu praised TİKA for its role in humanitarian diplomacy and said the office would enhance cooperation between the two countries.

Trump and trade
Like Mexico, Canada is in the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which Donald Trump has described as "the worst trade deal...ever signed in this country." Unlike Mexico, Canada thinks that Trump is not planning to hurt it. But no good deed goes unpunished, so Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau should be very careful.

Turkey, Dominican Republic agree to boost tourism ties
Turkey and the Dominican Republic have agreed to boost cooperation on tourism, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said during a visit to the Caribbean state on Feb. 2.
Speaking in a joint news conference following a meeting with his Dominican counterpart, Miguel Vargas, Çavuşoğlu said the agreement aimed to increase tourist flow.
