ArcelorMittal accuses Russia, China and Turkey of dumping steel prices

ArcelorMittal, the world's largest producer of steel, will cut 2,800 jobs at its Mexico unit as global prices slump, it said in a joint statement with local competitors on July 1, while accusing Russia, China and Turkey of dumping steel on markets at levels below production costs.

Turkey to temporarily sit out MIKTA meeting in Seoul

The fledgling group of MIKTA, which includes Mexico, Indonesia, Republic of Korea (ROK), Turkey and Australia, nations broke new ground July 1, with the first meeting of their parliamentary leaders in the South Korean capital.

Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea, Turkey and Australia formed the MIKTA association in 2013.

Mexico will not send a contestant to this year's Miss Universe pageant after part owner and TV personality Donald Trump made comments insulting Mexicans, Mexican broadcaster Televisa said on June 29.
