On a visit on Sunday to Cernauti, Ukraine, Minister-delegate for Romanians Overseas Angel Tilvar met Vice-Governor of the Cernauti Regional State Administration Ruslan Sencyuk and Cernauti Mayor Kaspruk Oleksey, with Tilvar voicing worries over Moldova's former Prime Minister Mircea Druc, also a Romanian citizen, having been denied entry to Ukraine.

The Ministry for Information Society together with the US Department of Commerce and the Commercial Service of the US Embassy in Bucharest are organising in the following three days at the Palace of the Parliament a Regional Cyber Security Summit, the US Embassy in Bucharest informs.

Multinational exercise LOGEX 15

BELGRADE -- The multinational post command and logistics exercise LOGEX 15 has started in Belgrade, gathering representatives of ten countries.

The US Army is due to begin on May 1 the Combined Resolve IV drills at two German training grounds located in Bavaria.

Foreign Affairs Minister Bogdan Aurescu paid an official visit to Norway on Monday, answering an invitation of his Norwegian counterpart Borge Brende, the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) informed AGERPRES in a release.

Aurescu's agenda included talks with Brende and with the Norwegian Parliament President Olemic Thommessen.

President Klaus Iohannis on Monday appreciated that the Republic of Moldova recorded "important progresses" in getting closer to the European Union, five years after the signing of the Declaration on Strategic Partnership between Romania and the Republic of Moldova.

Foreign Minister of Romania Bogdan Aurescu and Foreign Minister of Moldova Natalia Gherman say the first stage review of the Romanian-Moldova Partnership on Moldova's European Integration, five years after establishment, is "highly fruitful," renewing their full support for promoting Moldova's European journey and winning a clear prospect for accession to the European Union.
